PD3 Study Guide
Plan B — PD2 base to PD3 (NaN days)
PD3 Exam Structure · Scoring
Final score = (Reading + Oral×2 + Writing) ÷ 4 · Pass: total ≥ 02 AND each section ≥ 02 · Delprøve 1 topic is assigned on exam day
Daily time commitment:
At undefined, this plan is ~NaN days. Phase durations shown below.
Take a PD3 reading past paper cold (75 min). Compare your score to what you got on PD2 reading. The gap = your work.
danpicbook/reading →Self-record on 3 unfamiliar PD3 topics (5 min each). Evaluate: can you argue a position, or are you only describing? Position = PD3. Description = PD2.
danpicbook/delproeve2 →Write a 200-word opinion essay on any topic. Get AI correction. Specific question: 'Is my argument clear and defensible, or is it just a description?'
Build your personal gap list: vocabulary level (B1 you have → B2 you need), writing stance, and any oral topics you handle poorly at PD3 complexity.
⚠ Note: Passing PD2 ≠ being ready for PD3. The core gap is two things: B2 vocabulary density and argumentative writing stance. Everything else is refinement.
Vocabulary: focus on B2-specific words — abstract nouns, formal verbs, nuanced adjectives. These are what separate B1 and B2 in writing.
danpicbook/vocab →Oral daily: 40 min on PD3 Delprøve 2 topics at full complexity. Force yourself to argue a position on every topic, not just describe it.
danpicbook/delproeve2 →Oral Full dialogues: listen to 5 complete exchanges per session. Note: how does the student handle 'why do you think so?' and 'do you have an example?' — these are the two hardest follow-ups at PD3.
danpicbook/speaking/oral-full →Writing daily: one 200-word argument text on a topic from Phase 1 gap list. AI correction after each. Track: is your stance getting clearer with each draft?
Key B1→B2 writing difference: PD2 = 'Klimaforandringer er et problem fordi...' (description). PD3 = 'Klimaforandringer er den mest presserende udfordring, og jeg mener, at...' (argumentative stance).
Self-record every 4 days. Listen for B2 markers: varied sentence length, complex structures, confident delivery on unfamiliar topics.
Reading: PD3 past papers timed (75 min). Compare your accuracy to your Phase 1 baseline — are you closing the gap?
danpicbook/reading →Writing: full 60-minute timed writing sessions — 2 texts per session. Evaluate after each: does Text 1 have a clear position? Does Text 2 have 3 evidence-backed arguments?
danpicbook/writing/en →Delprøve 1 precision: practise delivering a structured 8–10 minute presentation on 3 assigned topics from the list. Focus on smooth transitions between points.
danpicbook/delproeve1 →Grammar for PD3: passive voice constructions, complex relative clauses, concessive clauses (selvom, selv om, på trods af). Write 5 targeted sentences per construction.
danpicbook/grammar-cn →Full mock every 2 days: Delprøve 1 (10 min) + 2 random Delprøve 2 topics + reading (75 min) + writing (60 min). Grade all sections.
Writing focus: after each mock, ask AI — 'Is this argument clear and specifically PD3-level?' If the answer is no, that is your single practice priority.
Oral focus: 5 back-to-back Delprøve 2 topics drawn randomly. Practice the B2 complexity level — not just answering, but elaborating, giving examples, defending your view.
Day before exam: review 10 oral topics you know well, 5 connector phrases, no new material. Sleep 8 hours.
The PD2→PD3 gap is not oral fluency — it is argumentative writing stance and B2 vocabulary density. Target these two, not everything.
PD3 writing grader tip: the first sentence of each argument paragraph must state your position clearly. 'Det er et problem' (PD2) vs 'Jeg mener, at det er den vigtigste udfordring, fordi...' (PD3).
Get AI to critique your writing specifically on 'argumentative stance.' That one feedback loop, done daily, accelerates PD3 writing faster than any other method.
Don't skip oral in Phase 2. Even though you passed PD2 orally, PD3 oral requires more complex sentence structures and more confident position-taking.
The two hardest PD3 Delprøve 2 follow-ups: 'Kan du give et eksempel?' and 'Hvorfor mener du det?' Prepare a formula for each — it removes the panic.
