PD2 Study Guide
Plan C — Intensive Sprint (30–35 days)
⚠ ~55% pass rate · 5h+/day only
PD2 Exam Structure · Scoring
Final score = (Reading + Oral×2 + Writing) ÷ 4 · Pass: total ≥ 02 AND each section ≥ 02
Day 1–2: Take a PD2 reading past paper cold (45 min). Read ALL grammar rules in one sitting. Take notes on your weakest areas.
Day 1–2: Complete Oral-383 Phase 1 — phrases 1–200, audio shadowing. Spend 3h/day on this.
Day 3–5: Complete Oral-383 phrases 201–383. Install the Del1 3-point framework. Practise with 10 topics.
Day 3–5: Vocabulary — top 300 core words from the 2500 list. Apply each in a spoken sentence.
Day 6–7: First self-recording (Del1 + Del2 mock). Listen critically. Write your error list.
Daily: Oral-3783 — 200 phrases per day, flashcard mode with audio. By end of week: 1000+ phrases covered.
Daily: Del1 — 5 random topics, 1-minute prep each, 2-minute speak. Record every session.
Daily: Del2 — practise handling: (1) don't understand (2) run out of ideas (3) grammar error mid-sentence. These three scenarios cover 80% of what can go wrong.
Self-record every 2 days. Direct comparison to previous recording: is the vocabulary richer?
Vocabulary: 30 new words per day, applied in oral immediately.
Reading: 1 full past paper per day, timed (45 min). Review all wrong answers with focus on the question type pattern.
Writing: formal email practice (1 per day) + short description (1 per day). Word limit: 100–150 words each. Accuracy first.
Grammar: fix your top 2 persistent errors from Week 2 recordings. Write 15 correction sentences each.
Oral maintenance: 90 min/day — Oral-3783 speed drill (30 min) + Del1 practice (30 min) + Del2 practice (30 min).
Every 2 days: full oral mock (Del1 + Del2) + reading timed + writing timed. Grade yourself on every dimension.
Target whatever you scored lowest in the mocks — spend 1 hour per day on that section only.
Final oral recording: evaluate vocabulary richness, grammar complexity, natural pauses. This is your benchmark.
Pronunciation: ø, å, soft-d — 30 minutes focused mimicry with Oral-383 audio. These separate grade 7 from grade 10.
Day before exam: no new material. Review 5 Del1 topics you know well, 50 phrases. Sleep early.
Oral counts double (formula: Reading + Oral×2 + Writing ÷ 4). Spending 60% of your time on oral is arithmetic, not preference.
Del1: don't memorise a script per topic. Master the 3-point framework until it's automatic — then it handles any assigned topic.
PD2 writing: shorter, correct sentences outscore longer, error-filled ones. Target accuracy, not complexity.
Del2 survival phrases: 'Kan du gentage spørgsmålet?' · 'Det er et godt spørgsmål...' · 'Jeg tænker over det et øjeblik'. These buy time without losing points.
Record yourself every 3 days. The gap between how you sound in your head vs. how you actually sound is exactly where grade 10 is won or lost.
